Joe Kinnear not returning but no resolution in sight
Newcastle United have announced , yes announced! that Joe Kinnear won't be returning as manager of the club. In a statement they said talks were ongoing with prospective consortia and that a sale was still in the pipeline. What I can't understand is why, they haven't included in that statement a statement of intent and of what exactly was going on a club. Where the sale was , regarding progress and any time-scale although their predicted times when the deal would be finalised was less than accurate. The players are getting sick of it and you can't blame them, does Mike Ashley spare any consideration for the fans? The people who inevitably keep the club going?
The statement said :
Reports in the press this morning that Joe Kinnear is to be appointed as Newcastle United manager are not true.
The position remains that the Club is still in the market to be sold and is still negotiating with prospective buyers
We've been waiting so long for this to be completed. Come on lads sort it out. or else you'll have an even bigger problem on your hands.
